NOTICE OF HARNEY COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING FY 2023/2024

Budget Committee Meeting previously scheduled for May 18, 2023 has been rescheduled to May 16, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. will be held in Judge’s Chambers in the Harney County Courthouse, at 450 N. Buena Vista, Burns, OR

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Harney County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 will be held in Judge’s Chambers in the Harney County Courthouse, at 450 N. Buena Vista, Burns, OR. The meeting will take place on the 06th day of April 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to receive the Budget Message and Budget Document. A copy of the Budget Document may be inspected or obtained on April 07, 2022 at the County Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Additional Budget Committee meetings will be held for County Department Heads to discuss their individual proposed budgets with the Budget Committee. These meetings will take place on April 13th, April 27th, May 8th, May 11th, and if necessary one final meeting on May 18th. All meetings will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For community groups and agencies; a meeting may also be held on May 30th if necessary. All budget meetings are public meetings where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place and any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
