Environmental Health
The Environmental Health Program is housed in the Community Development Department with the Planning and Building Departments. Environmental Health houses Onsite Sanitation for Baker, Grant, Harney, Union, Wallowa, and Wheeler Counties, Health Licensing for Harney County, and water and radon testing services. Environmental Health also responds and assists with all other County wide environmental health concerns and coordinates with other community programs to better serve the citizens of Harney County.
